Yes, we refill SodaStream cylinders

Most SodaStream machines use a standard 60L screw-in cylinder, and that is exactly what we refill. The same cylinder that came with your machine goes back to you, topped up with food-grade certified CO2, ready to make sparkling water again. You keep the machine you already own and simply swap the gas.

Our refill is a 450g fill, which is more than the 400g to 425g you typically get from the industry. That means more bubbles per cylinder and fewer swaps over the year.

One thing to check first: screw-in vs Quick Connect

SodaStream now makes two kinds of cylinder. The classic screw-in cylinder threads into the machine and is the one we refill. The newer Quick Connect cylinder is a pink click-in design used on models like the Terra, Duo, Art and E-Terra. Quick Connect is proprietary and cannot be refilled by third parties, so if your machine uses the pink click-in cylinder, this service will not fit it. If your cylinder screws in, you are good to go.

How the swap works

• We deliver full cylinders to your door, NZ-wide.
• Your empties go back in the same box using the free prepaid return courier.
• That is it. No queues, no driving to a store, no exchange counter.

Price and deposit

A refill is $29 per cylinder, with a 2-cylinder minimum order. On your first order there is a $10 refundable cylinder deposit, which comes back to you when cylinders are returned. Returns are always free and prepaid.

How long does a cylinder last?

A single 60L cylinder carbonates roughly 60 litres of water, give or take, depending on how fizzy you like it and how many drinks you make. For most households that is several weeks of sparkling water per cylinder. Because our fill is 450g rather than the usual 400g to 425g, you get a little more from each one. Ordering 2 at a time, as the minimum requires, means you always have a full cylinder on the bench while the other is on its way back.

Look after your cylinder

Keep cylinders upright, away from direct heat, and out of reach of small children. There is nothing to maintain between refills. When a cylinder runs flat, it simply goes back in the box and we send it again, filled and ready.
