This Privacy Policy describes how OH Bubbles ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and shares your personal information when you visit or make a purchase from ohbubbles.co.nz (the "Site"). We handle personal information in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies installed on your device. As you browse, we collect information about the pages and products you view, how you arrived at the Site, and how you interact with it. We refer to this as "Device Information".

We collect Device Information using:
- Cookies: data files placed on your device that often include an anonymous unique identifier. See allaboutcookies.org for more about cookies and how to disable them.
- Log files: records of actions on the Site, including IP address, browser type, internet service provider, referring and exit pages, and timestamps.
- Web beacons, tags and pixels: electronic files used to record how you browse the Site, including advertising and analytics pixels from providers listed below.

When you make (or attempt to make) a purchase, we collect your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information, email address and phone number. We refer to this as "Order Information". Payment card details are processed by Shopify's PCI-compliant payment infrastructure and are not stored by us.

If you contact us by email, chat or phone, or leave a product review, we also collect the information you choose to provide in those messages.

In this policy, "Personal Information" means both Device Information and Order Information.

HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We use Order Information to fulfil orders placed through the Site (processing payment, arranging shipping and cylinder collection, and providing invoices and order confirmations), and to:
- communicate with you about your order, deliveries and cylinder returns;
- manage refill plans, subscriptions and cylinder deposits;
- screen orders for potential risk or fraud; and
- where you have opted in, send you information or marketing about our products.

We use Device Information to screen for risk and fraud (in particular via IP address) and to improve and optimise the Site (for example through analytics about how customers browse, and to measure the performance of our marketing campaigns).

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We share Personal Information with service providers who help us operate the Site and serve you:
- Shopify, which powers our online store: shopify.com/legal/privacy
- Payment providers, couriers and delivery partners, to the extent needed to process payment and deliver or collect your order
- Analytics providers such as Google Analytics: google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy (opt out at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout)
- Email and SMS marketing platforms, live-chat support tools, review platforms and subscription-management tools we use to run the store

We do not sell your Personal Information. We may also disclose Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to lawful requests for information, or to otherwise protect our rights.

BEHAVIOURAL ADVERTISING

You can opt out of targeted advertising through:

DO NOT TRACK
We do not alter the Site's data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.

YOUR RIGHTS
Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you and to ask that it be corrected. If you would like to exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. If you are a resident of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have rights of access, correction, deletion and portability under applicable data-protection law, and we process your information to fulfil contracts with you and to pursue the legitimate business interests described above. Your information may be processed on servers located outside New Zealand, including through Shopify's international infrastructure.

DATA RETENTION
When you place an order through the Site, we keep your Order Information for our records (including tax and accounting requirements) unless and until you ask us to delete it.

CHANGES
We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for operational, legal or regulatory reasons.

If you are not satisfied with our response to a privacy concern, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.

CHANGE OF MIND
We accept change-of-mind returns within 7 days of delivery. If 7 days have gone by since your purchase, we can't offer a refund, but we may be able to offer an exchange.

To be eligible for a change-of-mind return, your item must be unused and in the same condition you received it, in its original packaging, with a receipt or proof of purchase. Once your return is received and inspected, we will email you to confirm whether your refund is approved. Approved refunds are credited to your original payment method. You are responsible for return shipping on change-of-mind returns, and original shipping costs are not refundable.

ITEMS THAT CAN'T BE RETURNED
For safety and food-hygiene reasons, the following can't be returned for change of mind:
- CO₂ cylinders once the seal is broken or the cylinder has been used
- Syrups and other consumables once opened
- Gift cards

CO2 CYLINDERS AND DEPOSITS
Refill cylinders are sold on a swap basis: the refill price plus a refundable cylinder deposit. The deposit is refunded when the cylinder comes back to us through the return process. Cylinders are pressurised vessels; please don't dispose of them in household recycling. Return them to us using the prepaid label, or drop them at a participating retailer.

FAULTY OR DAMAGED ITEMS
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. If an item arrives faulty or damaged, or develops a fault within a reasonable time, contact us at contact@ohbubbles.co.nz and we will make it right with a repair, replacement or refund, including any return shipping for the faulty item. Soda makers are also covered by our warranty; see the Warranty page for details.

LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS
If you haven't received an approved refund yet, first re-check your bank account, then contact your card provider; it can take several business days for a refund to post. If you've done this and still haven't received it, contact us at contact@ohbubbles.co.nz.

SALE ITEMS
Only regular-priced items may be refunded for change of mind; sale items can't be refunded unless faulty (your Consumer Guarantees Act rights always apply).

EXCHANGES
We replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need an exchange for the same item, email us at contact@ohbubbles.co.nz and send your item to: OH Bubbles, 80 Kent Terrace, Mt Victoria, Wellington 6011, New Zealand.

RETURN SHIPPING
To return your product, mail it to: OH Bubbles, 80 Kent Terrace, Mt Victoria, Wellington 6011, New Zealand. For items over $75, consider a trackable shipping service; we can't guarantee we will receive your returned item without tracking. (Cylinder swaps don't need any of this: the prepaid return label in your box covers the courier.)
