SodaStream New Zealand's published exchange pricing, checked 29 July 2026: $54 for two cylinders, $78 for three, $108 for four, plus delivery. Ours are filled and weighed at our own New Zealand plant, delivery is free both ways, and every OH Bubbles cylinder carries 450g of gas against the 400 to 425g common fill, so the price per gram stays lower even at our standard $29.

After you swap, your three refill codes wait for you at ohbubbles.co.nz/pages/refill-codes. Each one is a single cylinder at $20 of gas, so $30 at checkout with $10 of that coming back. Once the three are used, refills go out two cylinders at a time at our standard price, or cheaper again on an annual plan. Every cylinder carries a $10 deposit, first swap or tenth. It is refunded each time your empty reaches us, so it is the same $10 travelling back and forth, not a new charge every order.
The fill
We don't stop at the standard fill.
Most cylinders arrive with 400 to 425g of gas. Ours go out at 450g, a few extra litres of sparkling water from every cylinder, weighed at fill here in New Zealand.

Before you order
Can I order more than one cylinder?
Yes. Choose one to four on this page. Both the $10 gas price and the $10 refundable deposit are per cylinder, so two cylinders come to $40 at checkout with $20 of that coming back when your empties reach us. Delivery stays free however many you order.
Why is checkout $20 and not $10?
The gas is $10. The other $10 is the cylinder deposit, and you get it back when your empty reaches us. Every cylinder we send carries it, whether it is your first swap or your tenth, so it is really the same $10 going back and forth rather than a new charge each time. Delivery is free both ways, so there is nothing else added.
Is $10 my refill price from now on?
No. The $10 is a one-time welcome offer. Once you have swapped, three single-use codes are waiting at your refill codes, and each one drops a single cylinder to $20 of gas, so $30 at checkout with the $10 deposit coming back when your empty reaches us. After those three, refills go out two cylinders at a time at our standard price, or less on an annual plan. Order with the same email you used for your swap so the codes apply.
I already buy from OH Bubbles. Can I get $10 refills?
No. The $10 swap is a one-time offer for people bringing SodaStream cylinders across, and it is not a change to our refill price. If you are already with us, your refills stay as they are.
Do I need to buy a new machine?
No. Your machine stays exactly as it is. We refill the cylinders you already own, so nothing about how you make your drinks changes.
Will it fit my SodaStream?
If your cylinder twists into the back of the machine, yes. Newer SodaStream machines take a quick-connect cylinder that clicks in instead, and we refill those too. Pick your fitting when you order, or send us a photo and we will tell you.
How long does delivery take?
We pack the same or next working day and courier NZ-wide. Rural addresses can take an extra day or two.
How do the empties get back to you?
Your box arrives with a prepaid return label inside. Put the empties back in the same box, stick the label on and hand it to any courier pickup or drop-off. It costs you nothing.
